Genuine Baldwin BD103 Dual Flow Lube Filter | Cummins Spin On

Genuine Baldwin BD103 Dual Flow Lube Filter

Red Baldwin can, photographed still shrink wrapped. The wrap makes some of the side print hard to read at an angle but the Baldwin Filters mark and BD103 are clear, and we have not cut the wrap to make the photo prettier.

Dual flow is the interesting part of this filter. Inside the one can there are two media sections, a full flow path that feeds the engine and a bypass path that polishes a small share of the oil to a finer rating. You get better particle control without plumbing a second remote filter, which is why Cummins used the arrangement on engines where oil cleanliness drives overhaul life.

• Genuine Baldwin Filters, factory shrink wrap intact
• Dual flow spin on, full flow plus bypass media in one can
• Red painted steel can
