Danfoss 157B2175 Shock and Anti Cavitation Valve, 175 Bar

175 bar, about 2538 psi, is one of the softer standard PVLP settings. It shows up in circuits where the goal is to protect a component that cannot take full system pressure, for example a rotator, a tilt frame or a small cylinder hung off a larger machine. The cartridge screws into the PVLP63 shock cavity on the A or B port of a PVG work section and carries both the fixed relief poppet and the anti cavitation makeup check in one body.

What it does

• Opens at a fixed 175 bar to bleed off a pressure spike before it reaches the actuator
• Lets the light side of the circuit draw makeup oil instead of pulling a vacuum
• Protects lower rated components fed off a higher pressure PVG stack
• Fixed setting, one part number per pressure, no adjustment screw
