Genuine Hyundai MX536577 Air Breather Element | Doosan DX DL Series

Genuine Hyundai MX536577 Air Breather Element

The carton is a Hyundai Construction Equipment genuine parts box with the hologram present, printed ELEMENT-AIR BREATHER, made in Korea. Our catalogue previously carried this as a Doosan item; the physical box is Hyundai branded genuine, so that is how it is listed now. The number still belongs to the Doosan and DEVELON family, and published catalogues also show it alongside 400504-00254.

This element filters the air that enters the hydraulic reservoir as oil level rises and falls. It is a small, cheap part guarding a very expensive volume of oil, and on dusty forestry and aggregate work it loads up faster than any published interval suggests.

Practical notes

• Inspect it every time you pull the return element. If daylight will not pass through it, replace it.
• A blocked breather causes reservoir vacuum, which shows up as pump cavitation and a whine on lift.
• Catalogued across the Doosan DX and DL machine families. Confirm by model and serial.
