Genuine Fleetguard AF25523 Secondary Magnum RS Air Filter | Case Atlas Copco

Genuine Fleetguard AF25523 Secondary Air Filter

Photographed on the shelf here in Prince George, sealed in the original Fleetguard carton. The label reads PART NO. (1P) AF25523, AIR FILTER, quantity 1, supplier FLTGR, origin USA, carton code 25147. Identity is taken from the printed label.

This is the secondary, or safety, element that sits inside a Magnum RS primary. It is a tall element, so it belongs to a large air cleaner on a machine that moves real air. The point of a secondary is what happens on a bad day rather than an ordinary one: when a primary gets a hole rubbed in it, or a service goes wrong, the secondary is the only thing between the dust and the turbo. Replace it on schedule and never clean and reuse it.
