Genuine Fleetguard AF25552 Secondary Air Filter
Sealed kraft carton with the red Fleetguard header, part number AF25552, quantity one, supplier code FLTGR and origin USA. The date block reads 70955N-1D 24310. Nothing has been opened, so the element inside is still clean and dry.
A secondary element is the quiet insurance policy in a two stage air cleaner. It sits inboard of the primary and catches the dust that gets past a damaged or badly seated outer element, which is the difference between a dirty intake and a scored liner. Replace it on the interval in your manual, and always replace it if the primary has failed rather than blowing it out with shop air.
