This is a Magnum RS primary element, the radial seal design where the filter seals on its inside diameter against the housing outlet tube rather than on a flat face gasket. That matters in practice: a radial seal will not be pulled crooked by an overtightened cover, and it seals against dust even when the housing has been knocked around on a rough site. Fit it by hand, push until it stops, and do not chase it with tools.
