Genuine Fleetguard AF55308 Secondary Air Filter

Straight off our own rack, carton unopened. The label prints AF55308, Air Filter in three languages, quantity one, supplier FLTGR, and origin USA, with the internal build code AF5530800JF alongside it. Made in the United States, not a look alike box.

This is the inner element of a Direct Flow housing, the square stacked media style Cummins moved to on the QSB and QSL industrial engines. The secondary sits downstream of the primary and does one job: it catches whatever gets past the primary while the primary is out for service, and it protects the turbo the day somebody knocks the housing loose. It is not meant to be blown out and reused. When the primary has had its second cleaning, the secondary gets replaced, and that is the whole maintenance rule.
