Genuine Fleetguard FS19972 Fuel Water Separator
Bagged, and you can see the metal collection bowl on the bottom of the can in the photo. Printed Fleetguard FS19972, Fuel/Water Separator. Bin S2-C.
That metal bowl is the part that makes this a separator rather than a filter. Water is denser than diesel, so once the media coalesces the fine droplets into larger ones they fall out into the bowl and stay there until somebody drains it. The bowl is the reason you must actually drain a separator rather than assume the filter is handling it.
