Genuine Fleetguard LF17494 Lube Filter

A tall Fleetguard can off our shelf, photographed as it sits. This one has been out of its wrap on the shelf so the paint carries a little shelf dust, and you can read the plus three quarter turn A and B torque marks printed around the base. The media, gasket and threads are untouched.

Those A and B marks are the tightening instruction. Spin the can on until the gasket kisses the pad and mark the housing at A, then keep turning by hand until B lines up. That gets the gasket crushed the right amount on a Power Stroke oil filter cap without wrenching it into a seal you have to cut off next service.
