LF670 is one of the old reliable numbers on the big Cummins iron, the NT855 and KTA families that still run pumps, gensets, drills and rock trucks decades after they were built. Those engines take several of these filters at a time, so the practical advice is simple: change them as a set, prefill them if the mounting attitude allows, and never reuse the sealing gasket. Primary efficiency is about 95 percent at 25 micron, which is what a high flow full flow filter on that engine family is meant to be.
