Genuine Fleetguard LF691A Lube Filter
Photographed loose on the bench in Prince George. The can is printed Fleetguard LF691A, Lube Filter, with the patent pending notice down the side and the usual plus three quarter turn torque instruction. Nothing about this listing is guessed from a catalogue row: the number came off the can.
It is a tall, large capacity spin on with a one and a half inch by sixteen thread, the sort fitted to older Caterpillar iron and to stationary compressor packages. Because the can is long, check your clearance before you order a cross reference from a shorter family. The extra length is filter area, and filter area is service life, so if the machine has room for it there is no reason to fit anything shorter.
