Genuine Fleetguard WF2074 Coolant Filter | Cummins 3100307 | DCA4 Charged

Genuine Fleetguard WF2074 DCA4 Coolant Filter

Photographed on our own shelf with the factory shrink wrap still on it. The can is printed WATER FILTER with the Fleetguard mark, carries Cummins part number 3100307, and is stamped Cummins OEM Approved along with US Patent 4,717,495. The wrap also carries the line recommending it for 36 gallon system capacity on a standard service interval.

This is a charged filter, not a plain strainer. The element holds DCA4 supplemental coolant additive and releases it into the coolant as the engine runs, which is how a Cummins cooling system keeps its liner pitting and cavitation protection topped up between services. Fit it at the coolant filter head, then check your SCA level with test strips rather than guessing.
