Genuine Gates V13X970 Ex-Power Green Stripe V Belt

Bare belt with the factory Gates paper band still stapled around it, marked with the Gates script logo, the Chinese product name for a V belt, EX-POWER and GREEN STRIPE, part V13X970 and the Gates internal code 8507-5383. Nothing about it has been relabelled.

The number decodes straight off the band: 13 mm top width, 970 mm outside length, which is roughly 38 and a quarter inches. The Green Stripe cover and the moulded cogs on the underside are what let it wrap a small alternator or fan pulley without the cover cracking, so it is the belt you want on tight two pulley accessory drives rather than a wrapped classical belt. Industry wide this profile is sold as AVX13, so an AVX13 x 970 is the same shape of belt.
