Genuine Hyundai 31Y1-29100 Bucket Cylinder Seal Kit | R210LC-9 HX210

Genuine Hyundai 31Y1-29100 Bucket Cylinder Seal Kit

Hyundai genuine parts box, printed SEAL KIT-BUCKET CYL, made in Korea, 1 EA. The pick ticket taped to the carton in the photo reads WOODLAND EQU, MR ALAN, TRUCK, which is simply how it arrived on our shelf.

A cylinder seal kit is one of the few jobs where mixing brands genuinely bites you. The rod seal, buffer ring, wear ring and wiper are sized as a set against a specific rod and bore, and the gland groove depths are Hyundai specific. Published references give this kit as an 85 mm rod in a 120 mm bore. Get one component wrong and the cylinder either weeps or drags.

What is in a bucket cylinder kit

• Rod seal and buffer ring, which carry the pressure on the extend stroke.
• Piston seal set, so the cylinder holds a load without creeping down.
• Wear rings and rod wiper, which keep the rod centred and keep grit out of the gland.
• O rings and backup rings for the gland and end cap joints.

Catalogued application

Listed for the Hyundai R210LC-9 bucket cylinder and the HX210 generation that followed it. Sister kits in the same family are 31Y1-28960 and 31Y1-28790 for the boom and arm cylinders. Send us your model and serial and we will confirm which of the three you need.
