Genuine Hyundai 34E7-02320 Strainer | R450LC-3A
Original blue Hyundai Genuine Parts carton, the older green and blue design. The printed label gives MODEL R450LC-3A, PART NAME STRAINER, and a part number that reads 34E and then a digit that has been partly obscured by a rust mark on the box, followed by 02320. We have listed it as 34E7-02320 because that is the number that exists in Hyundai's catalogue as a strainer, and 34E7 is the correct prefix family for R450LC-3A parts. We would rather tell you that plainly than pretend the box is perfectly legible.
A strainer is the coarse screen on the suction side of the hydraulic system, sitting inside the tank ahead of the pump. It is not a fine filter, its job is to stop anything large enough to destroy a pump from ever reaching it. On a 45 tonne class excavator that pump is a very expensive component, and a collapsed or blocked suction strainer is one of the classic ways to starve one to death. If you are in a tank doing a hydraulic overhaul this is a part worth replacing while you are already in there.
