Genuine Hyundai 71LB-00290-P Cabin Air Conditioning Filter | HL740 HL757

Genuine Hyundai 71LB-00290-P Cabin Air Conditioning Filter

Hyundai Core Motion genuine parts box with the hologram present, supplied by Hyundai Construction Equipment, printed FILTER-AIRCON, made in the Republic of Korea, 1 EA. The trailing P marks the current Core Motion packaged version of this filter; Hyundai also lists a 71LB-00290 without the suffix as a separate stocking number.

This is the filter that decides whether the operator breathes wood dust and diesel fume for ten hours. It also decides whether the air conditioning actually works, because a plugged cabin filter starves the evaporator, ices the coil and leaves you with a compressor that runs and a cab that does not cool.

Change it when

• The fan is on high and the airflow still feels weak.
• The windshield takes a long time to clear.
• Every spring after a winter of recirculated cab air, and mid season on dusty ground.
