Genuine Hyundai 31E9-0126-A Spin On Hydraulic Drain Filter

Genuine Hyundai Core Motion box in the blue Hyundai Construction Equipment livery. Part number 31E9-0126-A, description in Korean reads 필터 which is the Korean word for filter, batch code UL03 W10A19A1, hand marked H2010, quantity 1 EA, made in Republic of Korea. The outer sleeve carries the Hyundai Construction Equipment wordmark in white, the inner Core Motion sticker sits over the barcode.

31E9-0126-A is the hydraulic drain filter on Hyundai R110 series excavators. It sits on the return line of the hydraulic tank and catches swarf and wear debris out of the oil before it goes back to the pump. When this filter loads up you start seeing warm oil symptoms, sluggish swing and boom lift, and the filter bypass indicator opens more often, which is a warning that unfiltered oil is going through the pump and motors. On a machine that logs eight to twelve hour shifts, a fresh drain filter every one thousand hours is what keeps the hydraulic warranty on side.

The A at the end of the number is the revision suffix, so 31E9-0126 and 31E9-0126-A supersede each other in service. Both forms are tagged on this listing so an older parts book still finds it.

Retail is set from a FinditParts published price of USD 27.49 landed, converted at 1.38 CAD per USD, plus small parts freight allowance and our eight percent handling, rounded up to the next 99 cent point.
