Waratah F351008 Set Screw
Waratah F351008 set screw, photographed in the bag it was picked into. The Waratah pick ticket names it SET SCREW and shows warehouse location E0303. It is a short socket set screw with a cone or dog point, the fastener Waratah uses to lock a bushing, collar or sensor bracket against a shaft or boss on a harvester head.
Set screws are the fasteners nobody thinks about until one backs out and a roller or knife arm develops play. They are cheap, they are torque and thread specific, and using the Waratah number keeps the point geometry and grade correct so it bites where it is meant to.
What it does
- Locks a collar, bushing or bracket in position on a shaft or in a bore.
- Cone or dog point bites into the mating surface to resist vibration backout.
- Correct grade and thread for the original Waratah application.
