NAPA Gold 1194 Hydraulic Spin-On Filter

Factory sealed NAPA Gold carton, part number 1194, contents made in Mexico. The shelf tag written on the box by our parts staff notes it as the hydraulic filter for Caterpillar 1R-0722 applications, and the number crosses directly to WIX 51194 since NAPA Gold filters are built by WIX on the same line.

This is a full size spin-on hydraulic and transmission oil filter, roughly 25 micron cellulose media in a heavy steel canister. It is the workhorse filter on a lot of Cat machines and on plenty of non Cat iron that ended up using the same head. Being a spin-on rather than a cartridge it is a two minute change with a strap wrench, no housing to open and no o-ring kit to chase.
